Strategic Finance Learning Program
We built this program after watching talented professionals struggle with the gap between academic finance and what actually works in business. Starting July 2026, you'll work alongside practitioners who've spent years testing strategies in real markets — not just teaching theory from textbooks.
Discuss Your GoalsHow We Structure Learning
The program runs for twelve months because financial strategy isn't something you pick up in a weekend workshop. Each phase builds on the previous one, and you'll apply concepts to your actual business context as we go.
Foundation Analysis
You'll learn to read financial statements the way investors do — spotting patterns, understanding cash flow dynamics, and identifying what metrics actually matter for your industry. We start with your current business situation and build from there.
Strategic Planning
This is where things get practical. You'll develop forecasting models, scenario planning frameworks, and capital allocation strategies. Most participants refine their actual business plans during this phase, which tends to be the most intensive period.
Implementation & Review
The final months focus on execution. You'll work through real challenges as they come up, adjust strategies based on results, and develop systems you can use long after the program ends. This phase is highly individualized based on your business needs.
Finding Your Path Through
Everyone comes in with different experience levels and business situations. We match you with guidance that makes sense for where you are now — not where we think you should be.
What's Your Context?
Are you running an established business, launching something new, or transitioning from corporate finance? Your starting point shapes which modules you'll focus on first and how we pace the material.
What Needs Work?
Some participants need help with forecasting. Others want better investor communications or capital structure decisions. We adjust the curriculum emphasis based on what's actually keeping you up at night.
How Do You Learn?
The program includes workshops, one-on-one sessions, and practical assignments. We've found people absorb financial concepts differently — some through case studies, others by working their own numbers. We adapt to what works for you.
Seren Whitlock
Seren spent eight years restructuring distressed companies before shifting to help profitable businesses avoid those situations entirely. She's particularly good at spotting financial warning signs early and has a talent for explaining complex concepts without jargon. Most of her current work involves growth-stage companies in the manufacturing and technology sectors.
Callum Deveraux
Callum moved from institutional investment banking to advisory work about six years ago after realizing he preferred helping businesses secure funding over trading securities. He's worked through dozens of capital raises and brings a realistic perspective on what investors actually look for. His background includes both equity and debt financing across various industries.
